On Assignment TV is part of a powerful legacy of community storytelling that began in Dallas in 1949 with The Elite News, founded by William “Bill” Blair Jr. Today, that legacy continues through a family of media platforms led by Debra Blair Abron, including On Assignment TV, The Elite News, and East Texas Express. Together, these organizations work across print, digital marketing, and video storytelling to inform, uplift, and connect communities across North and East Texas while giving voices, businesses, and churches a platform to be seen and heard.
